The microphone on this headset is superb and cancels out a lot of background and ambient noise however that is where the compliments end as the rest of the headset is somewhat disappointing for the value they represent only mono sound so can only listen through one ear they are however comfortable

The headset is premium quality just as you would expect from Jabra. The microphone is obviously the best thing about it – does not record any background noise at all and the speech and voice come out at the other end crystal clear.

Excellent headset that I’ve now been using for a couple of months on the inevitable work Zoom meetings. Good sound quality, and I’m told that the sound at the other end is also excellent. Very pleased.

Working from home? Need a headset? This is Jabra Engage 50 On-Ear Stereo Headset, model number HSC080. Perfect for working from home. Clear sound. Very comfortable. It is lightweight, only 96 grams. The connector cable is USB Type-C, so modern.

This is a compact wired headset that is dependable and works well. I’ve used it for my Microsoft Teams meetings and my voice can be heard much clearer and it does a commendable job of blocking out background noise. Audio quality is okay but I was expecting a bit more for the price.

Jabra headset, great microphone but not so sire about the headphones. I am softly spoken so I am often misheard of asked to speak up on my old headset but haven’t had that issue with this one, however I didn’t like the headset, it was comfy but I just didn’t find it as amazing as I should have given

These are really simple to set up, They are USB C so if your laptop does not have this port you will need to buy the adapter to be able to use these. Its great for a number of working areas with being a one ear piece so you can still hear whats going on around you such as office or call centres

I have a fairly new laptop but I did have to buy a USP-C adapter (£6) to try these out. They are comfortable to wear being very lightweight, you forget you have them on. My clients have noticed that the sound quality is so much better – I work from home on an occasionally noisy road and have pets.

It’s a little bit perverse I think to bundle these with a USB-C type adapter instead of somthing that will work more readily on a wider range of hardware. It basically limits them to laptops (particulalry mac laptops where that port is more common), mobile devices (at the expense of the charging)
